Budapest is located in the heart of Central-Europe. It is just a two-hour drive from Bratislava and approximately two and a half hours from Vienna.
Arriving by plane is also quite affordable in November as many carriers offers very low tariffs in this period. There are direct flights from many capitals: e.g.: London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Warsaw, Copenhagen or Stockholm. The return ticket prices are from 60-70 €.
The in-person part of the conference will be hosted at the 4-star Danubius Hotel Helia which is a lovely place to stay while you're attending the conference. Besides that, Budapest provides many other hotel options. In case you would rather find an apartment during your stay, there are plenty of Airbnb accommodations, too.
